DISMANTLE

Dismantle Youth Art at Light up the Lane 2018

At Light Up the Lane, DISMANTLE’s young experimental artists took festival goers on a live interactive photo-booth experience where one life is projected onto another amidst scenes of city and forest. Featuring improvised projection and sound, the experience raises questions about who we are, our relationship to each other and the world around us.

Youth Artist Collaborators: Che Van Oh, Jordy Gregg, Jasper Maxwell-O’Brien, Harry Holcombe-James, Atak Ngor, Mary Scully and Anna Abela.

Artist Mentor Collaborators: Sara Wright, Sabrina Evans, Richie Cyngler and Troy Melville.

DISMANTLE is an experimental youth arts project developed by artist Sara Wright with Contemporary Art Tasmania in partnership with YouthARC and with special access to ALab at UTAS, MONA and Detached. Made possible by Hobart Creative Grants and Contemporary Art Tasmania.
